Materials
All of our products are crafted with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified baltic birch plywood. Baltic birch is one of most stable man-made wood products on the market. We use a variety of thicknesses in our furniture 1/4 in, 3/4 in and 1.5 in.
We choose to work in plywood because of its natural beauty and because it is the most sustainable form of wood on the market. The entire tree is used when manufacturing plywood - there is no waste.
Finishes
Our furniture is finished with Osmo Polyx® oil. A German made product, Osmo Polyx® oil is made with natural vegetable oils and waxes. It is resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk and water. It is safe for humans, animals and plants and is suitable for children's toys. You can learn more on the Osmo website.
All of our pieces can be topped with Forbo furniture linoleum. Furniture linoleum is made from all natural materials - linseed oil and pine rosin. The satin matte surface provides a natural, warm look and feel. You can learn more on the Forbo Furniture Linoleum website.
