FAQs

What materials do you use to make your products?

  • Our core material is FSC-certified baltic birch plywood.  We use 1/4 in, 3/4 in and 1 1/2 in thick material.
  • Many of our products are available with Forbo furniture linoleum. Furniture linoleum is made from all natural materials - linseed oil and pine rosin. The satin matte surface provides a natural, warm look and feel. You can learn more on the Forbo Furniture Linoleum website.
  • Our packaging uses FSC-certified boxes and biodegradable tapes and labels.

Are you products sustainable?

  • Sustainability is at the core of our business.  All of our materials are chosen because of their low environmental impact.
  • We seek to eliminate waste at every opportunity in our manufacturing process. We only manufacturer pieces when they are ordered. We use sophisticated CAD and CAM software to design, prototype and manufacture our pieces thus maximizing the number of pieces that we can mill from a single sheet of wood and reducing the number of prototypes.

Are you finishes safe?

  • All of our pieces are finished with Osmo Polyx®, which is made with all natural ingredients. Osmo Polyx® is safe for humans, animals and children's toys. You can learn more on the Osmo website.

What happens if my piece gets scratched?

  • Osmo Polyx® provides a very hard and durable surface on all of our furniture. If your piece does get scratched, you can sand it very lightly with 200 grit sandpaper and apply a very thin coat of Osmo Polyx® over the affected area.

How do I clean furniture linoleum?

  • Forbo furniture linoleum is naturally resistant to liquids, stains and fingerprints.  It can be cleaned with a damp cloth.  For spills of wine, coffee or soda the affected area can be cleaned with water and a mild dish soap.  The area should be dried immediately.  Never use bleach to clean the linoleum. 

Orders and Shipping

How long does standard shipping take?

Standard shipping takes 5 to 7 business days. Express (2 to 3 days) and overnight options are available at checkout. Orders over $50 ship free.

Can I order online and pick up in store?

Yes. Select "Pick up in store" at checkout and choose your nearest location. Most orders are ready within 2 hours of purchase.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We'll arrange a replacement or refund with no return shipping required.

Returns and Refunds

What is your return policy?

Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery, unused and in original packaging. Some categories, including final sale items and select electronics, are non-returnable. Check the product page for specifics.

How do I start a return?

Visit our returns portal, enter your order number and email address, and follow the prompts. A prepaid return label will be emailed to you within 24 hours.

When will I receive my refund?

Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving your return. You'll get a confirmation email once it's been issued. Allow an additional 3 to 5 business days for your bank to post it.

Products and Stock

How do I know if a product is in stock?

Stock levels are shown on every product page. If an item is low in stock or out of stock, it will be labelled accordingly. Use the "Notify Me" option to get an alert when it's available again.

Do you price match?

Yes. If you find the same product at a lower price from an eligible retailer, contact us before purchasing and we'll match it. Price matching is available for in-stock items only.

Can I buy online and return in store?

Yes. Bring your order confirmation and the item to any store location and we'll process the return on the spot.
